Job Description
Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to assist with pre-sales activities, provide technical support during sales calls, and resolve customer issues. The role requires a strong understanding of wireless technologies, DNS, and network security, along with experience in various network management solutions. The role involves both pre-sales and post-sales support activities.
Requirements
- Field sales experience
- Experience in technical/pre-sales support
- Experience with LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
- Experience with Wireless technologies, deploying, supporting and doing site surveys
- Solid understanding of Wireless Authentication technologies
- Exceptional understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
- Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus
- Solid understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
- Certifications: CCIE, CISSP
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies
