VP, Investments Accounting Policy

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. is seeking a VP, Investments Accounting Policy to lead technical research on complex investment transactions and structures under U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting requirements. The role will collaborate across functions to ensure accounting policies adhere to relevant frameworks and capital requirements.

Requirements

• Serve as technical specialist for complex investment asset classes and structures
• Collaborate with investment office on complex transactions and structures
• Adopt and integrate AI-powered tools into research and execution workflows
• Monitor and analyze developments from FASB, SEC, and NAIC
• Document financial processes and controls
