Continuous Improvement Intern

Role Overview

The Continuous Improvement Intern will support manufacturing sites in the FES (Faurecia Excellence System) deployment and activities. The role will establish standards, develop model lines, maintain the FES Shareplace, and coach production employees.

What You Will Do

The main duties of the role include establishing standards, developing model lines, maintaining the FES Shareplace, coaching and training production employees, updating standardized work instructions, and participating in plant workshops.

Requirements

• Pursuing an Engineering Degree, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical
• Minimum 2.8 GPA
• Ability to travel while working internship
• Strong computer skills, high level organization skills, and good communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Windows-based software
• Helpful to have knowledge of Access, visual basic or equivalent
