Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Sous Chef with three to five years of culinary experience or one to two years in a supervisory position. The successful candidate will assist in planning recipes, ensure food preparation and presentation, control labor and operating expenses, and maintain sanitation standards.
Requirements
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Kitchen's food production area
- Assist in the planning and development of recipes
- Ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control
- Ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by Four Seasons, local, state, and federal regulations are in compliance
- Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
