IT & T Field Engineer

We invite you to join our passionate team at Fraport Greece! The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, monitoring, and maintaining the Airport’s IT&T systems and networks.

Requirements

• Install and configure hardware, operating systems, and applications on-site, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain and monitor the Airport’s IT&T systems and networks.
• Diagnose and resolve first-level hardware and/or software issues promptly, with response times aligned to operational priorities.
• Supervise external providers on-site at the Airport’s IT&T Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Secondary Distribution Frames (SDFs), ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Receive, secure, and record IT&T hardware assets in the local inventory, performing periodic audits and reconciliation to maintain accountability.
• Identify end users’ needs proactively during daily airport walk-throughs in the Airport, documenting recurring issues and proposing improvements or upgrades.
• Stay updated with the latest technological trends related to the Airport’s equipment installation base and recommend the adoption of relevant innovations to enhance operational efficiency.
