Lead Cook

We are seeking a Lead Cook to join our dedicated team at South Port Square, a 40-acre campus in Port Charlotte, FL. The Lead Cook will assist in creating, planning, costing, and executing menus, theme buffets, specials, and holiday menus, and will supervise utility workers on daily cleaning projects.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
• Ability to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
• Some knowledge of nutrition and diet
• Health Care experience desirable
