Engineering Compliance Manager

Role Overview

Freightliner's Safety Management System and supporting Maintenance Policy defines the standards to be applied in maintaining the traction and rolling stock for which Freightliner is the Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM). As ECM, Freightliner must undertake reviews of the application of its policies via audit. The Compliance Manager T&RS is key to the delivery of these requirements.

What You Will Do

Manage the T&RS Competence Management and Audit activities for the Engineering team, lead and direct the audit process, develop the annual audit plan, and review the output of the audit process.

Why It Might Be a Fit

At least 5 years of experience in traction & rolling stock engineering, supervisory or man-management experience, and relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Requirements

• At least 5 years broadly based experience of traction & rolling stock engineering
• At least 3 years' experience in supervisory or man-management and the ability to make sound engineering decisions
• Relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Lead Assessor Qualification (D32, A1 or Equivalent)
• Lead Auditor Qualification (e.g LRQA etc)
• Personal Track Safety Certificate
