Working at Freudenberg, preparing and testing new equipment, designing and assembling automation equipment, troubleshooting and improving existing production equipment, conducting equipment training, utilizing project management tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
- Experience with PLC programming and industrial control systems
- Working knowledge of PLC languages such as Ladder, STL, or Diagram
- Experience with industrial communication networks and system integration
- Familiarity with electrical design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, UG, or SolidWorks
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of automated manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of machine safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedule
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to learn new software and computer programming functions as required
- Good Math Skills (algebra or higher)
