Wet Lab Technician

Role Overview

The Wet Lab Technician will be responsible for mixing and testing CMP slurries, operating wet lab characterization tools, executing test plans, generating test data, and maintaining CMP equipment. The role is part of FUJIFILM Electronic Materials' Mesa, AZ facility, which is a global leader in chemical solutions for the semiconductor industry.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include mixing, filtering, and documenting slurry for testing, coordinating with engineering and lab staff, operating wafer polishing, metrology, and slurry characterization equipment, and maintaining CMP lab equipment.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in basic chemistry, lab equipment, and chemical handling processes, as well as excellent communication, data collection, time management, and organizational skills. Experience with CMP polishing and metrology, analytical sampling, and SAP is a plus.

Requirements

• Proficient with basic chemistry, SDS, lab equipment and chemical handling processes
• Minimum HS degree or GED required; some college preferred especially with chemistry courses/labs
• 0 to 1 year of previous experience required
• Excellent communication, data collection, time management and organizational skills required
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
• Technically inclined person with a desire to work on tools and chemistries
• Person should be comfortable dealing with and handling chemicals
• Excellence in understanding and following instructions
• Familiarity with computer software and applications
• Experience with CMP polishing and metrology will be considered a plus
• Excellent safety, work performance and attendance records
• Analytical sampling experience (pH, % solids, particle counts, titration) preferred
• SAP experience a plus
• Prior experience in the chemical industry a plus
