Contracting Divisional Manager

Role Overview

We're looking for a Contracting Divisional Manager to lead our Contracting Projects and Rail Departments in Dunedin. The Contracting Divisional Manager is accountable for overall leadership and performance of both departments, ensuring business and project outcomes are achieved.

What You Will Do

Develop annual budgets and work programmes, oversee pricing and tendering, build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensure contract reports and claims are comprehensive and delivered on time.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or significant industry experience
• At least 10 years' experience within a contracting environment, including experience working with KiwiRail
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
• Proven experience in pricing, tendering and winning work
• Strong and proven leadership skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of New Zealand health and safety and environmental standards and regulations
• Strong commercial and budget management skills
