Job description
We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our embedded Security Engineering team. The role involves embedding with product or platform teams to design and implement fixes for identified security issues, learning unfamiliar systems and codebases quickly, and writing high-quality, maintainable code that addresses security issues without introducing unnecessary complexity or performance regression.
Key responsibilities of the role include embedding with product or platform teams, learning unfamiliar systems and codebases, writing high-quality code, owning security work from investigation through to delivery and follow-up, and collaborating with experienced engineers to reach well-reasoned solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering production code in complex software systems, deep understanding of security concepts, and a proven ability to learn unfamiliar technology stacks quickly and work effectively within them.
