
Job description
We are seeking a Site Manager to join our team at Galliford Try. The ideal candidate will be based in or around the Northumberland area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region. The Site Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all site activities, including labour, plant, staff, and equipment, to achieve project completion on time, within budget, and to specification.
The Site Manager will be responsible for managing site teams effectively, monitoring performance, developing skills, and fostering a positive working environment. They will also be responsible for resolving on-site issues promptly and effectively, maintaining accurate site records, and liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders as required.
We are looking for a candidate with significant experience of working on design and build projects, as well as in the management of H & S, Quality, and the design and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Site Manager in construction projects and strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management best practices.
