Job Description
The Residential Counselor II is a leadership role in a residential setting, responsible for creating a therapeutic environment and implementing treatment plans for clients. The role involves leading shifts, providing crisis intervention, and promoting trauma-informed practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree or bachelor's degree in human service field preferred
- At least one year of experience working in a related field dealing with youths
- Prior supervisory role
- Valid driver's license
- Availability of an automobile to transport clients or perform other supportive services
