Senior Estimator

Role Overview

Join our Construction Services team in Miami as a Senior Estimator. Work in-house on site at client's offices, developing cost estimates for transportation projects in accordance with FDOT guidelines. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

What You Will Do

Develop cost estimates for transportation projects, review and analyze design plans, conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of Long-Range Estimates (LREs), provide support in preparing contractor bid documents, and coordinate with design teams and stakeholders.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Bring 5+ years of experience in roadway/highway design and cost estimating, proficiency in FDOT estimation tools, and strong analytical and communication skills. Significant estimating experience, preferably in construction management or general construction, is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in roadway/highway design and cost estimating
• Proficiency in FDOT estimation tools (e.g., Estimator, LRE system) and familiarity with the Design Manual and Basis of Estimates (BOE)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Significant estimating experience (10+ years), preferably in construction management or general construction
