The Garvan Institute of Medical Research is seeking a Research Officer to lead research with our iPSC Village platform. The successful candidate will employ cutting-edge iPSC differentiation systems or analysis of genomic data to explore developmental trajectories and cell fate decisions across genetically diverse donors.
Requirements
- PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in stem cell culture and differentiation systems or computational analysis of genomic data
- Proven track record applying genetic and molecular approaches to investigate biological mechanisms
- Experience with CRISPR-based methods, single-cell technologies, or functional genomics assays
- Strong publication record and evidence of independent research capability
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
