
Job description
The AV/VTC Systems Technician supports US Army operations by maintaining and operating audiovisual, video teleconferencing, and related networked systems. The role requires an active Secret clearance and travel throughout Southwest Asia and Africa. The technician will set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV and VTC systems, maintain and configure hardware and software, and provide user support and training.
The AV/VTC Systems Technician will perform system maintenance, upgrades, inspections, backups, and documentation. They will also diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues, and provide technical guidance to senior/VIP personnel.
To be successful in this role, you will need strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. You will also need experience with Polycom and Cisco/Tandberg VTC systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
