Job description
As a Cable Technician, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter by installing, terminating, patching & splicing Fiber optic cables and Copper (CAT5/6) Ethernet cables in a Classified secured environment.
Troubleshoot issues with Link Runner AT2000 cable testers, install cabling infrastructure, ensure cables are properly labeled and identified, complete work orders using Remedy online system, and patch network cables in Telecommunications Rooms.
You will need to have 5+ years of experience as a Cable Technician or similar role, be able to obtain up to Top Secret/SCI clearance, and be willing to travel CONUS & OCCONUS up to 10% each year.
