
Job description
This role is for an Inspector 2 (CMM) 3rd Shift at GE Aerospace in Norwich. The job involves utilizing manual or automated measurement and testing equipment to assure quality of products, identifying and documenting non-conforming parts, and inspecting raw materials and purchased parts to determine conformance to design requirements.
The Inspector 2 (CMM) 3rd Shift will utilize manual or automated measurement and testing equipment, identify and document non-conforming parts, inspect raw materials and purchased parts, and perform job responsibilities according to internal process specifications and third-party requirements.
This role requires a high school education or GED equivalency, 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of inspection experience, basic knowledge of Quality System requirements, and basic understanding of special process operations.
