Role Overview

This role is for an Inspector 2 (CMM) 3rd Shift at GE Aerospace in Norwich. The Inspector 2 (CMM) 3rd Shift will utilize manual or automated measurement and testing equipment, identify and document non-conforming parts, inspect raw materials and purchased parts, and perform job responsibilities according to internal process specifications and third-party requirements.

This role requires a high school education or GED equivalency, 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of inspection experience, basic knowledge of Quality System requirements, and basic understanding of special process operations.

Requirements

• High School Education or GED equivalency
• 1 year experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools and measuring devices
• Ability and willingness to perform electrical test methods
• Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation
• Ability and willingness to pass visual acuity exam
• Ability and willingness to obtain Braze, Weld and Solder inspection certification
