
Job description
Join the Small Uncrewed Engines team at GE Aerospace to develop innovative propulsion solutions for expendable-class and limited-life applications. Contribute to the development of propulsion technologies for Department of War customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to advance technology development initiatives.
Contribute to the development, design, analysis, integration, testing, or qualification of small uncrewed propulsion systems. Support requirements management, interface control, risk management, verification and validation planning, or configuration management activities. Participate in design activities, including preliminary design, detailed design, design analysis, design optimization, and design verification.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with Department of Defense weapon system development, government proposal and contract execution, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools is desired.
