Shipfitter Entry Level & Semi-Skilled

Electric Boat is seeking a Shipfitter Entry Level & Semi-Skilled to work in Groton, CT. The position involves layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of foundations, structures, components, and deck packages. No experience is required, and Electric Boat provides pre-employment training to teach the trade.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED or be a current High School Senior
• 0-5 years of relevant experience
• Successful completion of the Eastern CT Workforce Investment Board (EWIB) Manufacturing Pipeline Initiative training program if applicable
• Must be available to train and work on any shift
• Must be able to work all shifts and in all environments as well as Radiological areas of the boat
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD secret clearance
