
Job description
The Network System Engineer provides requirements analysis, requirement testing, design, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting functions for data communications networks in support of the SDA program. This role requires extensive work at a computer in an office environment with additional work possible in a raised floor computing environment. Position may require extensive travel to deployment sites in US and abroad.
Documents network plans and designs, installs components, and configures services to meet project requirements. Analyze network topologies, traffic, and capacity requirements for monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting during events.
Six (6) years' experience integrating and configuring switches, routers, firewalls and gateways in data communications systems with IP version 4 and associated TCP and UDP protocols preferred. Active/Current DoD Secret Clearance. Certified DOD 8570.1-M IAT Level 2 preferred.
