
Job description
The Process Engineer candidate will play a key role in maintaining shop equipment and supporting production within the paint shop. This position requires a hands-on problem solver who can think quickly, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and contribute to quality enhancements to the process.
Operating and maintaining systems from the exit of Body Shop to shipment to General Assembly as well as any paint shop processes related to enabling shipment of the finished vehicle, troubleshooting with production and maintenance personnel on paint shop processes and specialized equipment.
This position requires the selected candidate to be able to work any shift and over-time, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to reduce energy and waste, and support production aid tooling trials to improve program/project management.
