Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Two (2) years of experience in primary health care, oral health or behavioral health setting
- Knowledge of insurance plans and managed care plans
- Coding certificate or training preferred
- Knowledge of medical and/or dental terminology
- Familiarity with practice management and electronic health records systems, spreadsheet and word processing software packages preferred
- Understanding of current industry billing rules, practices and guidelines such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPC, CDT coding, HIPAA regulations and credentialing desirable
- Excellent skills related to organizing and managing daily work tasks
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
