Field Engineer

Genetec is seeking a Field Engineer to provide remote and on-site technical support, system deployment and commissioning, audits, and system assessments to customers. The role involves developing strong relationships with customers, documenting issues, and providing timely resolution of customer issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in customer service, technical support, and/or project management.
• Excellent administration and troubleshooting skills of various Windows operating systems.
• Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP protocols.
• Understanding of network storage principles and best practices as well as server virtualization concepts.
• Capacity to travel 30/40% of the time.
