Thermoforming Operator

Role Overview

Operate Thermoformers, communicate quality issues, and maintain a safe work environment. Work under shift supervisor with final approval by the production manager.

What You Will Do

Learn and operate all six Thermoformers, recognize and report heating/cooling problems, start up and shut down machines, perform adjustments, and check oilers.

Requirements

• Ability to learn and operate all six Thermoformers
• Recognize heating/cooling problems and report issues
• Start up and shut down all Thermoformers unassisted
• Perform adjustments as needed without assistance
• Check oilers on trim press and Thermoformers at shift start and fill as needed
• Ability to use a fire extinguisher
• Understand and accurately complete required paperwork
• Ability to recognize and identify problems with machines and/or material
• Ability to apply troubleshooting techniques to issues as they arise
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to differentiate between 'good' and 'bad' quality
