Job Description
GenScript Biotech Corporation is seeking a Customs Trade Compliance Expert to ensure adherence to import/export and PGA regulations, manage customs clearance processes, and lead a Duty Drawback Program. The position requires a U.S. Customs Broker License or CCS or CES certification, minimum 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, and expertise in U.S. import/export procedures and regulatory environments.
Requirements
- U.S. Customs Broker License or CCS or CES certified
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in trade compliance
- Solid knowledge of Import/Export Regulations and Product Classification
- Proven expertise in U.S. import/export procedures and regulatory environments
- Strong working knowledge of ACE, ABI systems, and classification tools
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and government agencies
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and customs brokerage software (e.g., Mercury/ITS, CargoWise, Descartes, etc.)
