Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

Design and engineer lighting, power, low voltage, and associated control systems for new construction and/or renovation of industrial, commercial, educational, governmental and healthcare structures.

What You Will Do

Possess / demonstrate the engineering knowledge and understanding to design and analyze electrical systems, manage or lead a project team, review and/or establish project scope, electrical budget, design approach, and applicable constraints, and adhere to project quality, budget, and schedule.

12+ years of related experience in design and engineering of power distribution/lighting systems, experience with short-circuit analysis, protective device coordination and arc flash hazard analysis, and proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Professional Engineer’s License is required
• LEED accredited professional qualification preferred
• 12+ years of related experience in design and engineering of power distribution/lighting systems
• Experience with short-circuit analysis, protective device coordination and arc flash hazard analysis
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Proficiency short-circuit analysis, protective device coordination and arc flash hazard software (SKM, ETAP or EasyPower)
• Bluebeam
• BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Engineering software for lighting design, AGI32 or equal
