Senior Structural Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Structural Engineer will provide technical, organizational, and communication skills to produce well-designed and coordinated construction documents for structural systems. They will work with limited supervision and be responsible for managing project scope, budget, and design approach. The role requires a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and the ability to apply them in everyday analysis.

What You Will Do

The Senior Structural Engineer will review and establish project scope, structural budget, and design approach. They will perform as project lead engineer for larger projects, manage the production effort of staff, and keep current with latest code publications. They will also apply loading on structures, produce innovative design solutions, and communicate with other disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have 15 years of related experience in structural engineering, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, and Professional Registration. They will have strong analysis and drafting skills, including proficiency in Risa, RAM, ETABS, and SAP2000. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, or other related field
• Professional Registration; S.E. preferred
• 15 years of related experience in the structural engineering field
• Solid CMU design knowledge
• Wood experience a plus
