Senior DevSecOps Platform Engineer

Role Overview

GALT Aerospace is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Platform Engineer to build, maintain, and secure development and DevSecOps infrastructure across multiple aerospace projects. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Linux system administration, virtualization, automation, and CI/CD and software best practices.

What You Will Do

Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware ESXi environments, design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning and configuration, and monitor system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field
• 7+ years of experience in DevSecOps, system administration, or software infrastructure/automation roles
• Expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESXi, and vSphere administration
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Strong scripting skills in Bash; working knowledge of Python
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based workflows
• Familiarity with STIG compliance, system hardening, and security best practices
• Understanding of QCOW2, QEMU, or other virtualization technologies
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance

Benefits

• Base pay between $165,000 - $190,000
