Internship - Management Information Systems

Role Overview

Temporary Part-Time Employment (3 Month Internship) for a post-graduate or current student to gain industry insight on information resource management and practical work experience in data warehousing practices and technologies.

What You Will Do

Research and learn to build case studies on information systems, design data warehouse, gain knowledge of cloud computing principles, and prove theoretical database concepts in JQL, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform.

Requirements

• Post-graduate or current student enrolled in a Bachelor's, Associate's, Master's degree program or equivalent experience in Business Management, Marketing, Accounting, Applied IT, and Data Sciences
• Minimum 10 hours a week virtual support
• Experience using Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Confident in public speaking and giving rehearsed presentations
• Academic experience in building new business database applications
• Strong research, persuasive writing, and reporting skills
• Fundamental understanding of Information Technology hardware, software, and network administration
• Academic experience in topics of systems analysis, planning, feasibility analysis, requirements analysis, economics, systems design and project management
• Minimum G.P.A of 3.0
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform and Atlassian Jira
• Experience with PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
• Proficient teleconferencing, remote-work, and unified communication tools
• Familiarity with teleconferencing equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
