Electrical Engineer, Robotics

Role Overview

The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the development of robotic surgical systems, supporting electrical design from concept through commercialization. This role focuses on new product development (NPD) and includes hands-on design, prototyping, integration, and testing of complex electromechanical systems.

What You Will Do

Design and develop electrical systems and PCBAs for robotic platforms containing analog, digital, and microcontroller circuitry, drive prototyping, bring-up, testing, and debugging of electrical subsystems, and collaborate on system integration and troubleshoot issues across hardware and software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
• 2-5 years of product development experience, preferably in robotics or complex systems
• General experience with PCB development including schematic, layout, building, debugging and component selection
• Proficient with electrical test equipment; oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc
• Familiar with design for test, analyzing information, and reporting results
• Experience with schematic capture software (Altium preferred)
