Job Description
The Driver (Meals on Wheels) is responsible for delivering meals to homebound seniors, transporting delivery staff, and maintaining a vehicle. The role requires a valid NYS Driver's License, 2+ years of driving experience, and a high school diploma. The position is 25-27 hours per week, with a rate of $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Picks-up and delivers meals to homebound seniors
- Picks-up and drops-off Delivery staff on the designated route
- Keeps vehicles clean and in good operating condition
- Maintains accurate daily log of meal deliveries and contributions collected
- Assists in scheduling meal deliveries to minimize time and distance between delivery
