Job description
The Geotechnical Assistant supports the geotechnical team through routine inspections, data collection, monitoring, and ground condition checks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in geotechnical engineering and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced geotechnical professionals in a dynamic mining environment.
Assist with a range of day-to-day geotechnical activities, including wall inspections, structural mapping, core logging, core sampling, monitoring activities, instrumentation, and data management.
Completion of Year 12 education, with strengths in literacy and mathematics, and a growth mindset, with strong communication, responsibility, and relationship-building skills.
