Job Description
The Staff Accountant will perform a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including month-end close, reconciliations, and ad-hoc analysis. The successful candidate will have strong judgement skills, ability to manage challenging situations, and excel with technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years' experience in accounting
- CPA not required, but will be a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, basic accounting principles, highly proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of common accounting requirements
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Organizational and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle several competing priorities with high urgency
- Self-starter, accustomed to working independently in a demanding work environment
- Typing, data entry and 10-key skills a must
