Support Staff I

The Support Staff I will perform safety and security duties in a shelter setting, assisting participants with basic needs and resolving conflicts. This role involves monitoring participant performance, performing room checks, completing documentation, and assisting with case plans and reporting infractions. The position is primarily incident-driven, focused on maintaining a safe environment for all involved.

Requirements

• Basic interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to maintain order, resolve conflict, and perform crisis intervention
• Understand basic housekeeping and facility standards
• Ability to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening
• Must provide proof of identification and eligibility to work in the United States of America
