Customer Engineer, Platform, Google Cloud

Role Overview

Partner with business teams to differentiate Google Cloud Platform to customers, serving as the customer's primary technical partner and advisor. Troubleshoot technical questions, engage in proofs-of-concepts and demos, and architect cross-pillar cloud solutions to solve business issues.

What You Will Do

Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, combine business, programming, and solutions architecture expertise to show the value of Google Cloud Platform, architect cross-pillar solutions, drive technical wins, and define delivery plans for customers.

Why It Might Be a Fit

10 years of experience with cloud native architecture, experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms, experience with presenting to technical stakeholders or executive leaders, and experience with programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms
• Experience with presenting to technical stakeholders or executive leaders
• Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops
