Data Center Mechanical Cooling Engineer

We are seeking a Data Center Mechanical Cooling Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, including experience with thermal topology, piping and fluid dynamics, and mechanical and building codes. The role will involve acting as a technical resource for mechanical contractors, performing site walk-throughs, and leading the RFI process. The salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
• 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering
• 5 years of experience with thermal topology, including evaporative cooling and non-evaporative cooling topologies
• 5 years of experience with piping and fluid dynamics, including chilled water plant overviews, pumping systems, and hydronic balancing
• Experience with mechanical and building codes (e.g., IBC, IMC) and recognized engineering standards such as ASME and ASHRAE
