Technical Program Manager, Global Network Acquisition

Role Overview

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

What You Will Do

Ensure best unit cost delivery for Google network infrastructure, project manage the approved network plan, collaborate with internal business and cross-functional teams, identify stakeholders and work with them to strategize, plan, and prioritize objectives and success criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in program or project management
• 5 years of experience managing programs and processes across distributed systems
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
• Prior experience designing or building fiber optic or FTTx networks
• Knowledge of data center operations, networking deployments, including knowledge of networking switches, routers, load balancers or IP networking
