
Job description
The Receiver/Shipper is responsible for the efficient flow of incoming materials and the efficient preparation of outgoing materials. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Load/unload trucks, utilize material handling equipment, build custom skids and packaging, stage and palletize loads, obtain and process purchase orders, create shipping logs, communicate with logistics and purchasing agents, and inspect incoming/outgoing material.
Must be able to pass truck and crane certification, have computer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel, and be able to communicate effectively with factory supervision.
