Airport EMS/Firefighter

Provide first-aid and emergency response for all Grand Canyon West facilities. Assess injuries, administer emergency medical care and transport injured or sick persons to proper facilities. Control and extinguish fires or respond to emergency situations where life, property or environment is at risk.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to function calmly and stay focused in crisis or emergency situations
• Ability to perform tasks in difficult and hazardous situations
• Ability to maintain and drive emergency vehicles and operate equipment
• Proficient in firefighting skills and EMT skills relevant to National and Arizona State certification levels
• Ability to administer first aid treatment or life support care to sick or injured persons in a non-hospital setting
• Ability to provide outstanding customer and personal services while comforting and reassuring patients
• Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task efficiently and maintain positive working relationships
• Knowledge of Grand Canyon West locations and operations
