Seasonal Police Officer

Grand Canyon University's Police Department is seeking full-time Police Officers to ensure the safety and security of the GCU campus. The GCU Police Department performs general and specialized police work involving the enforcement of laws and ordinances, crime prevention, and other community services.

Requirements

• Patrol assigned areas of Grand Canyon University owned properties, by automobile, foot, or bicycle, for the prevention of crime and enforcement of all applicable criminal, traffic, and liquor laws and City Ordinances.
• Respond to calls for service involving crimes such as thefts, robberies, assaults, homicides, and narcotics violations.
• Secure the scene of a crime; makes arrests; books suspects.
