
Job description
The VDC Engineer plays a critical role in bringing projects to life before construction begins by leveraging BIM and VDC technologies. This role helps teams identify risks early, improve coordination across disciplines, and ensure projects are built accurately, efficiently, and safely.
As a VDC Engineer, you'll spend most of your time supporting active project coordination while also contributing to continuous improvement of VDC tools and processes. Core responsibilities include creating, managing, and coordinating BIM models, developing and modifying 3D model elements, and performing advanced clash detection.
Success in this role is measured by both technical results and collaboration. Required skills and experience include a strong understanding of construction principles, advanced proficiency in BIM and VDC tools, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
