Job Description
GSCY, a leading nonprofit YMCA in Somerset County, New Jersey, is seeking Part-Time School Counselors for Before and After school programs in Basking Ridge, Bernardsville, and Bedminster Township. The role focuses on nurturing and supporting children, promoting youth development, and fostering social responsibility. It's an on-site position, not remote.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Must have High School Diploma or be a Senior in High School
- Must have experience working with children in a structured group setting
- Good communication skills and ability to relate effectively to diverse groups
- Ability to learn and think quickly to solve child-to-child situations
