Senior Data Engineer

Role Overview

Join a fast-paced growing FinTech company as a Senior Data Engineer to work with the latest technologies, including Python, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and custom-built API's. Collaborate with an Agile team to parse and process CRE data for clients and internal researchers.

What You Will Do

Architect and build database schema, data ingestion models, ETLs, and testing to uphold data integrity and availability. Develop, maintain, and optimize current data architecture and pipelines, while maintaining documentation.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Excellent Python Programming knowledge, leadership and interpersonal skills, and ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot complex pipelines are required. Experience with AWS infrastructure and CI / CD, and interest in front end technologies is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or comparable experience
• Excellent programming skills with minimum 5 years of experience in Python
• Extensive database skills with minimum 5 years of experience in either MySQL, SQL, or PostgreSQL
• Proficiency with Git
• Collaborative problem solving, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail
