BESS Project Engineer

Greenvolt Power Spain is looking for a BESS Project Engineer to design, evaluate, and optimize battery storage systems for utility-scale solar and wind projects. The role will involve technical documentation, support to suppliers, and coordination with other disciplines and clients.

Requirements

• Design, evaluation, and optimization of battery storage systems (BESS).
• Preparation of technical documentation and drawings.
• Technical Support / Doc management on project definition with suppliers.
• Definition of basic and detailed engineering.
• MV and LV system sizing calculations.
• Coordination with other disciplines and with the client and support to the commercial activity.
• Specification of the different types of battery storage systems and definition of operating modes.
• Performing sizing and capacity analyses of BESS systems.
• Dynamic modelling of battery storage systems.
• BMS definition for battery storage systems.
• Integration of BESS systems in renewable energy projects.
• Grid connection requirements for BESS.
• Electrical equipment purchasing specifications.
