Grinnell Mutual is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the business objectives of Guidewire. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guidewire (Java/Gosu), a strong background in BillingCenter or PolicyCenter, and a commitment to training. This is a cross-functional Agile Software Development Team role with opportunities for growth within a highly rated workplace.

Requirements

Experience in Property and Casualty Insurance.
Background in Billing systems (preferred).
Familiarity with GUnit.
Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college/university in programming related field with significant course work and/or experience in design, development and analysis of technology solutions.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Javascript, or Gosu.
Proven ability to tackle sophisticated business and development problems.
Willingness to develop a strong understanding of industry and Grinnell Mutual-specific business practices.
