Job Description
The Behavioral Health Substance Use Disorder Care Team Specialist (SUD CTS) works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, support and deliver evidence-based substance use disorder treatment to patients. Responsibilities include reviewing team/provider in-baskets, coordinating review and follow-up of phone requests, completing and documenting reviews of controlled substance prescriptions, and assisting with triage and patient scheduling.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
- Successful completion of a training program from an accredited school or program
- National certification from a certifying organization within six months of employment
- Current licensure as a practical nurse in the State of Wisconsin or within six months of employment
- Valid Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certificate within four months of employment
- One year of relevant experience working in a clinic or outpatient setting (desirable)
- Experience in a substance use disorder setting (desirable)
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM with minimal errors
- Experience with EPIC (desirable)
- Basic understanding of outpatient clinical administrative procedures
