We are seeking a Vice President, Construction Management to lead the physical realization of our global expansion. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our industry-leading manufacturing plants and new construction and/or restart of existing specialty chemical manufacturing facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or Construction Management. MBA preferred
- 15+ years of experience in heavy industrial construction (e.g. Oil & Gas, Semiconductors, Chemical or Gigafactories
- Proven experience working "owner side" within a corporate setting, managing large, complex capital projects
- Proven experience delivering $1B+ projects from greenfield to commissioning on time and on budget.
- Experience working with a Tier 1 EPC or Construction firm with a deep understanding of contractor business practices, financial structures (costs and margins) and operations.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and international)
- Technical Agility: Ability to toggle between high-level financial forecasting and deep-dive technical troubleshooting on the factory floor.
- International Expertise: Familiarity with international building codes, permitting processes, and diverse labor environments (North America, Europe, South Korea).
- Safety First: An uncompromising commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards in high-hazard industrial and chemical environments.
- Startup Agility: Comfortable building departments and processes from scratch while maintaining the pace of a high-growth company.
