Job Description
The Cash Applications / Poster Specialist will perform duties related to the payment posting function of the Management Services Organization (MSO). The role requires self-direction, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of Relevant Equivalent Experience
- 0-2+ year's experience in office, business, operations, customer service or healthcare field
- 6+ months of payment posting experience (nice to have)
- One to three years of related experience and general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty reimbursement (nice to have)
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/10 coding (nice to have)
