Database Administrator

Role Overview

Designs, implements, and maintains full life cycle of complex databases. Provides highly technical expertise in the use of database management systems. Works in collaboration with Development and Engineering teams.

What You Will Do

Designs, implements, and maintains full life cycle of complex databases including Tables, Views, Stored procedures, indexes, functions, jobs, rules and roles, replications, and other database objects.

Requirements

• Minimum of FOUR years of overall work experience
• Bachelors degree from an accredited university
• Prior experience in supporting MS SQL server 2016, 2019 or later versions
• Experience supporting production, business-critical database environments
• Knowledge of database security, access control, and compliance standards
• Hands-on experience with SQL programming (T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions)
• Performance tuning and query optimization
• Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Database clustering and replication
